Job Introduction

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a skilled Programme Manager to join our team at Dechra, a global specialist in veterinary pharmaceuticals. As a key member of our Manufacturing & Supply (DMS) Transformation Programme, you will play a critical role in delivering our strategic goals and driving business transformation.

The Opportunity

The Programme Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating projects within the DMS Transformation Programme, ensuring timely delivery and effective project management. You will work closely with the Director of Strategy and Transformation Office, the DMS Head of PMO, and other stakeholders to achieve our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with business requirements and strategic goals.
  2. Lead the Transformation Project Management team, promoting best practices and ensuring effective project delivery.
  3. Collaborate with the PMO function to ensure timely collection of project information and informed decision-making.
  4. Work with the Change Manager and Communications Specialist to ensure high-quality communications and stakeholder engagement.
  5. Coordinate Transformation KPIs and ensure benefits tracking is in place.
  6. Ensure team members are aware of processes, tools, and templates.
The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager who can drive business transformation and deliver results. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience in delivering large-scale, multi-year business transformation programmes.
  2. Strong working knowledge of up-to-date project delivery methodologies.
  3. Benefit tracking and benefit delivery of financial, supply chain, and people benefits.
  4. Strategic thinking and ability to link project delivery to strategic goals.
  5. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience in engaging business leaders and stakeholders.
  6. Organisational acumen and ability to achieve great results through others.

Desirable qualifications include Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 certification, international experience, and experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
