TPF Recruitment is supporting a leading Top 15 firm of chartered accountants based in Maidstone, Kent, who are seeking an Employment and Shares Tax Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the business's personal tax department, collaborating closely with Partners to provide a range of employment and share scheme services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the employment tax relationship with clients.
  • Lead work and be actively involved in the provision of advisory projects to clients, including those from other departments and offices.
  • Report directly to tax partners and directors.
  • Take primary responsibility for financial performance on client/project work.
  • Billing responsibility for work, balancing the requirement to maximize recovery and manage client expectations.
  • Consider and manage risk in all interactions with clients.
  • Show a sense of urgency and understanding of how the delivery of work impacts the Firm's ability to serve clients.
  • Significant employment tax/share scheme experience on a range of compliance and advisory projects.
