Job Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is supporting a leading Top 15 firm of chartered accountants in their search for an Employment and Shares Tax Manager to join their team. This position is within the business's personal tax department, where you will work closely with partners to provide employment and share scheme services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

As an Employment and Shares Tax Manager, you will be involved in a range of compliance, tax advisory, structuring, project-based, and transaction work, including due diligence and report preparation. You will also contribute to business development initiatives and collaborate with the team to generate new work opportunities.

This is a new role in a dynamic and growing Top 15 chartered accountancy practice. The firm boasts a modern working environment and an excellent staff retention rate. You will have opportunities for career advancement and a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage employment tax relationships with clients.
  • Lead work and participate in advisory projects for clients, including those from other departments and offices.
  • Report directly to tax partners and directors.
  • Identify opportunities to offer additional services to clients and contacts.
  • Lead and support business development initiatives.
  • Take primary responsibility for financial performance on client and project work.
  • Billing responsibility for work, balancing recovery and client expectations.
  • Manage risk in all client interactions.
  • Understand the impact of work delivery on the firm's ability to serve clients.

Requirements
  • ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • Significant employment tax and share scheme experience on compliance and advisory projects is required.
  • A passion for client service is necessary.
  • Display energy, enthusiasm, and a focus on achieving results.
