Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Strategy Consultant to join our team at Matchtech. As a key member of our strategy and policy development function, you will provide impactful strategic and policy advice internally and externally.

The successful candidate will have experience in transport strategy and policy development, working in complex situations and developing policies, strategies or business cases. A good understanding of national and regional policy context, transport policy, and regulatory frameworks is also essential.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with external partners and stakeholders to support their strategic thinking and policy planning, as well as providing expert advice on the Strategic Transport Plan (STP).

You will lead monitoring, evaluation, and annual planning/reporting against the STP and associated strategies, while identifying and delivering further evidence and/or policy development where necessary.

A relevant degree or equivalent level reached through experience is preferred.
