Job Title: Contract - Finance Analyst - Hybrid

About the Role:

VIVO Defence Services, a joint venture between Serco and EQUANS, is seeking a skilled Finance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Business Partner and the Principal Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of Billable Works schedules payment reconciliation
  2. Developing BW schedules and preparing further analysis
  3. Resolving unallocated and cancelled transactions or costs
  4. Validating the accuracy of ledger postings to ensure they are coded correctly
  5. Ensuring all BW schedules are updated regularly
  6. Preparing journals to clear down incorrectly posted costs
  7. Any other work to support the Billable Works transformation project as required

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent IT skills, with experience in manipulating, handling, and allocating large sets of data. Previous experience working in finance is essential, ideally in accounts payable or accounts receivable. You will need to be a strong user of Excel and able to manipulate complex data concisely.

It is desirable that you have experience using SAP systems and interfaces, although you will need to be IT literate.

You will need a full UK Drivers license or another way of reliably travelling to the office in Preston.
