CV-Library is currently recruiting for a Supplier Quality Manufacturing Engineer for our client, a world-renowned technology company operating in the power generation industry.

About the Role

A typical day for this role will involve engaging interactions with suppliers, data analysis, and driving continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met, while fostering strong relationships with our valued suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Product Qualification Activities at Suppliers – Product and Process Qualifications (PPQs)
  2. Contain, manage and resolve Quality issues relating to supplier non-conforming components identified at Aero-Derivative Gas Turbine (AGT) assembly facilities, warehouses or customers globally.
  3. Audit existing and potential suppliers to determine capability of manufacturing and ensure quality systems are in place.
Requirements

Essential:

  1. Technical training or further education in quality, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
  2. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO9001), Supplier Quality Management (SQM) and Quality Control routines.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work with design engineering organization to ensure parts are manufacturable.
  4. Self-motivated attitude and ownership of projects.
  5. Ability to project manage Product and Process Qualifications and unexpected Supplier Quality Issues from beginning to end.
  6. Knowledge of inspection methodologies and assessment of inspection capability.
