Job Overview

Ambition24hours Locums and Allied is seeking a highly skilled Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our integrated therapy team, you will provide a speech and language therapy service for children referred for assessment and intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of children and young people with complex and/or additional needs, providing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized management and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in health, education, social care, and voluntary sector organizations to deliver training programs and information packages.
  • Participate in service development projects and engage with Clinical leads in professional development activities.
  • Provide specialist advice and clinical supervision to junior colleagues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require strong clinical reasoning skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide high-quality services to children and families.
