Manufacturing Director Opportunity

Walker Cole International is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Director to lead our biopharmaceutical CDMO in Cambridgeshire. As the Manufacturing Director, you will oversee GMP manufacturing activities, drive operational excellence, and foster industry-leading management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, develop, and mentor a team of Production Managers and Operational Leaders.
  • Drive site transformation projects, including process improvement and lean manufacturing.
  • Oversee technology transfers from R&D and ensure adherence to GMP.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality, Engineering, and Process Development teams to build strong team relationships.
  • Lead site inspections and external relationships.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10+ years of GMP manufacturing experience in industry.
  • Work experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing management/leadership roles.
  • Expert understanding of industry best practices within GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Previous work experience with biologic/ATMP products highly desirable.
