About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SENCO to join our team at an Independent School in London. As a SENCO, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of special educational needs and disabilities within the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with SEND
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students receive the best possible education
  • Manage and coordinate the school's SEND provision, including assessments, reports, and reviews
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure students receive the necessary support and services
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in SEND

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • SENCO certification
  • Experience working in SEND schools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff
