We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join our growing Audit and Corporate team at Kreston Reeves. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion, managing a team of Auditors, and ensuring all files are technically compliant.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and technical skills. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading audits and ensuring they are completed in a cost and time-efficient manner
  • Supervising and coaching junior team members on site
  • Controlling audit and accounts preparation undertaken by junior members of staff
  • Liaising with clients and partners on work assignments
  • Ensuring audit procedures are followed meticulously

You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of clients, including not-for-profit organizations, and will be exposed to compiling accounts and corporate tax returns.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ACA / ACCA qualification (or part qualified with a minimum of 2 years prior audit experience)
  • Statutory audit experience gained in public practice
  • Knowledge of ISA and UK GAAP essential
  • Accounts compilation skills
  • Experience in drafting corporation tax computations
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Strong analytical skills
