About the Role:

Strong Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in estimating mechanical works for projects ranging from £50,000 up to £3 million across various sectors, including domestic, high-end residential, commercial, and industrial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed tenders for mechanical projects, including heating, ventilation, domestic systems, and refrigeration, with project values ranging from £50,000 up to £3 million.
  • Utilise estimation tools such as Simpro and Ground-plan effectively, ensuring accurate and timely submission of tenders.
  • Ensure all mechanical tenders meet industry standards and are fully compliant before final submission.
  • Adhere to the company's health and safety policies at all times.
  • Engage in ongoing learning opportunities, with potential to lead in the training and development of future estimators.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Estimator.
  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 Electro-technical qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and other mechanical systems.
  • Proficient in Google Office Suite and estimating software such as Simpro and Ground-plan.
