Key Responsibilities- Build trusting relationships with young people and create a positive atmosphere
- Work collaboratively with other team members to manage the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
- Conduct key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals
- Assist with daily living activities, including practical support for independent living
- Support young people to maintain a healthy environment and assist with cleaning and personal hygiene
- Record and report customer incidents
- Manage referrals, complete assessments, and maintain relevant paperwork
- Develop productive relationships with partner organizations to improve service outcomes
- Adhere to lone working protocols and maintain high levels of awareness for health and safety
- Involving young people in the design, development, and delivery of the service
- Encourage and enable tenants to pay their rent and avoid personal debt
- Ensure Look Ahead Health and Safety policies and local protocols are adhered to
- Take on shift leading responsibilities and coordinate shifts in the absence of a manager
- Be responsible for the handover of key information between shifts
- Ability to advocate for young people in different professional and community spaces
- Values working collaboratively with young people to ensure the service best meets their needs
- Understanding of people's contexts and how this might be impacting their lives and mental health
- Cultural awareness and respect for the many different ways a person might make sense of their experiences and distress
