Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEND) in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start a career in education to gain valuable experience and skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide individualized support to students with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEND in a variety of settings, including classrooms, workshops, and one-to-one sessions.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery.
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND, including developing and implementing personalized learning plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience.
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate or someone looking to start a career in education.
  • Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting.
  • Passion for supporting young people's development and learning.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and adults.
  • Strong organizational skills and accurate record-keeping ability.
  • Calm, supportive manner and adaptability.
