Automotive Testing Engineer Role
=========================

We're looking for an Automotive Testing Engineer to join our team at Direct Line Group. As an Automotive Testing Engineer, you'll play a key role in helping us understand emerging automotive technology and shape its future.

Responsibilities
---------------

* Test and challenge emerging vehicle technologies to support our ambition to be an industry leader.
* Engage with various partners to promote learning and inform strategic decisions to drive transformation.
* Work with the Motor Network Technology Specialist and team to build future repair strategies at a people, facility, and industry level.
* Perform hands-on experiments to test new technologies and demonstrate their impacts to team members.
* Deliver Insight events to further understanding of advanced technology within Direct Line Group.
* Support the adoption of enabling technology within Direct Line Group alongside the Technology Specialist Team, including maximizing the use of digital solutions.
* Provide directional and practical support for the Technology Centre and activities therein, including contributing the latest vehicle technology content to training courses.
* Support implementation of site-by-site technology investments and people training to safely integrate technology within Auto Services.

Requirements
------------

* Willingness to test and challenge established thinking.
* Background in communicating technical knowledge.
* Comfortable at setting your own goals and working to complete them.
* Engineering qualification and years of industry experience desirable.
* Experience and understanding of automotive/vehicle technologies.
