Job Title: Electro Plater Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electro Plater Technician to join our team at Holt Engineering Recruitment Limited in Poole. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electroplating, with experience in preparing metal parts for electroplating, mixing and preparing plating solutions, operating electroplating equipment, monitoring the electroplating process, inspecting finished parts for defects, and cleaning and maintaining electroplating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing metal parts for electroplating by cleaning, degreasing, and masking.
  • Mixing and preparing plating solutions according to specifications.
  • Operating electroplating equipment to achieve high-quality plating results.
  • Monitoring the electroplating process to ensure correct thickness and quality of plating.
  • Inspecting finished parts for defects and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Cleaning and maintaining electroplating equipment to prevent corrosion and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in electroplating or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electroplating principles and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
