We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Underwriting Assistant to join our team at Aviva. As an Underwriting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our underwriting team in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our underwriting processes.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about the insurance industry and has a strong desire to build a successful career. As an Underwriting Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with our underwriting team to deliver end-to-end policy management for large, complex corporate risks.
  • Providing business-critical metrics to our management team.
  • Identifying and driving opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Acting on customer feedback and sharing ideas with managers and peers.
  • Taking ownership of your development in line with our business strategy.
  • Occasional travel to our London office may be required.

We offer a competitive starting salary of £26,800, plus a bonus opportunity of 6% of annual salary. You will also receive a generous pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and the option to buy or sell up to 5 days.
