We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at the Vein and Vascular Institute. As an Echo Cardiography Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through diagnostic imaging procedures.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will perform echocardiographic diagnostic procedures with expertise in utilizing various equipment to determine accurate cardiac function, anatomy, and physiology flow parameters. This position requires sufficient education/training to acquire ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac ultrasound, as well as knowledge of current practice in echocardiography.

In partnership with the University of Cincinnati, we combine clinical expertise and compassion with research and teaching, providing patients with options for even the most complex situations.
Responsibilities- Perform 2D, adult congenital, 3D, AFI, dyssynchrony, dobutamine, bicycle, and treadmill stress echocardiograms, transesophageal, and 3D transesophageal studies.
- Conduct studies of consistently high quality utilizing special skills according to established protocols.
- Utilize Epic scheduling/patient data charting software, organize daily schedule, Tele-Tracking/patient transportation, clarify orders when necessary, follows hospital policy for reporting critical results.
- Completion of a two-year Allied Health degree and successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP-approved School of Ultrasound Technology, or Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalent education.
- Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency on current practice of echocardiography: cognitive, technical, interpersonal, and communication skills necessary for the performance of adult, geriatric, adolescent echocardiography.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
