We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Specialist to join our team at the Vein and Vascular Institute. As an Echocardiography Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing echocardiographic diagnostic procedures.

Job DescriptionIn this role, you will be responsible for:
- Performing 2D, Adult Congenital, 3D, AFI (automated frequency imaging), Dyssynchrony, Dobutamine, Bicycle and Treadmill Stress echocardiograms, Transesophageal, and 3D Transesophageal.
- Conducting studies of consistently high quality utilizing special skills according to established protocols.
- Utilizing Epic scheduling/patient data charting software, organizing daily schedule, Tele-Tracking/patient transportation, clarifying orders when necessary, following hospital policy for reporting critical results.
- Complying with all department policies and procedures.
- Serving as an expert role model in providing quality patient care for internal and external customers with appropriate test/indications selection.
- Providing one-on-one training to student technologists, cardiology fellows, and other staff physicians Knowledge of Merge Cardio operations, local functions and systems function.
Requirements
- Completion of a two-year Allied Health degree and successful completion of a 12 month CAAHEP approved School of Ultrasound Technology, or Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalent education.
- Work requires sufficient education/training to acquire American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification in cardiac ultrasound, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
- Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency on current practice of echocardiography: cognitive, technical, interpersonal and communication skills necessary for the performance of adult, geriatric, adolescent echocardiography.
