Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Officer to join our team in the Procurement Service within Finance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient service that safeguards taxpayer assets and supports services to effectively manage their resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the tendering process for a wide range of goods, services, and/or works, including Mini Competitions, EU, and Regulated procurement.
- Provide expert specialist procurement advice and guidance to suppliers, client departments, colleagues, and external stakeholders, delivering a customer-focused and professional service.
- Responsible for the provision of high-quality procurement, contracting, and quality of services.
Requirements
- Experience in procurement and contracting, with a strong understanding of EU and Regulated procurement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
