About the Role

In this senior leadership position, you will collaborate with product, design, and programme teams to drive the successful delivery of cutting-edge engineering projects across UK and international markets. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensuring innovative solutions meet operational requirements and deliver value to global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead high-performing engineering teams to deliver world-class solutions on time, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive engineering plans, identifying dependencies, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Establish effective work structures and strategies to streamline project delivery, enhance collaboration, and reduce costs.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with design and production processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present technical progress and solutions to senior leadership, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills, advance their careers, and achieve personal growth.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading complex engineering projects, preferably in a technology innovation environment.
  • Proficiency in systems engineering principles and product-based development methodologies.
  • A deep understanding of project lifecycles, delivery processes, and industry trends.
  • An excellent track record of managing multidisciplinary teams, allocating resources effectively, and driving project success.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) is highly desirable, as well as eligibility for security clearance.
