We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Energy Analyst to join our team at Zero Trace Procurement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting to our clients on a regular and consistent basis using our market-leading in-house systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to financial reporting and cost forecasting.
  • Work through our training program modules to ensure a solid understanding of energy procurement and management.
  • Learn and master our software platforms from a client-facing and internal management perspective.
  • Design and create period cost and accrual reports for our clients, taking into account property changes, COTs, and incorrect charges.
  • Run system reports, check data integrity, and ensure completeness.
  • Assist in the production and maintenance of up-to-date processes and procedures for all aspects of the role.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the financial sector, preferably within the energy market.
  • Energy industry knowledge is essential.
  • Finance and business acumen, with a strong understanding of cost charging and accrual generation.
  • High level of competency with Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Emotional intelligence, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
  • Bachelors Degree and AAT Part Qualified.
