About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Editor to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our editorial team, you will work across both Cancer Cell and Trends in Cancer, bringing a strong background in cancer research and a passion for scientific communication.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Edit and commission high-quality content for Trends in Cancer.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with researchers and academics in the field of cancer research.
  • Promote the journals at scientific conferences and institutions in Europe.
  • Collaborate with editorial teams and Advisory Board members to improve journal impact.
  • Contribute to strategy development through data analysis and innovation approaches.
  • Enhance journal visibility through event organization and marketing efforts.

Requirements

A PhD or MD in cancer research or clinical oncology is necessary. Excellent scientific communication skills and a genuine interest in oncology are required.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is €80,000 - €110,000 per year, based on experience.
