About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at Wabtec Corporation. As a key member of our Leadership team, you will play a vital role in partnering with us to define and implement business strategies that align with our values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Leadership team to support business strategy development and implementation, workforce planning, and culture building aligned with our values.
  • Provide proactive and HR support and advice on employee relations, organizational design, and HR policy implementation.
  • Coach managers on various HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing guidance on topics like Discipline, Grievance, Diversity & Inclusion, and GDPR.
  • Work closely with Senior Managers and Talent Acquisition on recruitment and selection processes, ensuring talent attraction, recruitment, and retention meet business needs.
  • Provide HR KPIs and reports to assist Managers in making informed business decisions. Ensure effective use of the HRIS system (Workday) to reduce paper-based processes and administrative overhead.
  • Collaborate with Senior Managers to determine departmental training and development needs, maintain a succession plan, and ensure performance management processes are embedded.
  • Support UK HR change projects, Company initiatives, and local business improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of the monthly payroll in compliance with legislative requirements in coordination with the Payroll team.
  • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the HR Assistant. Mentor and coach team members to support their career development.
