Electronics and Controls Systems Developer

Due to business growth, an exciting opportunity has been created for an Electronics and Controls Systems Developer to join our global client's Innovation/R&D Department. The main purpose of the role is to provide design and development support to the Electronics and Controls part of the business alongside more senior members of the team. You will be involved in the development of a variety of different processes including PCB Design, Microprocessors, Sensors, and Communications.
Candidate will be degree qualified with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with a demonstrable background in a similar role. Ideally, candidates will be experienced using Altium and AutoCAD - Autodesk Inventor experience is advantageous. Experience with machine control systems/automation is an advantage, but you will receive a lot of on-the-job training to learn about all the required systems.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 08:30 - 17:00 / Friday, 08:30 - 12:00
Hybrid Working Available: 3 days in the office as a minimum
- You will be responsible for the development of electronic sub-systems and products, either directly or in conjunction with development partners.
- This will include electronic systems design, creation of the technical specifications, and validation throughout the design process, testing, and final verification.
