Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Park Activities & Leisure team in Pembrokeshire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Foster a high-performing team by providing guidance, coaching, and support.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and service improvements.
  • Performance Management: Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Resource Management: Oversee staff scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximize efficiency and meet business needs.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and standards.
  • Problem Solving: Address operational issues promptly to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Training and Development: Support staff growth through ongoing training, mentoring, and creating opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leadership roles such as Swimming Pool Manager or similar positions in Sports, Leisure, or Hospitality.
  • PPO and SPTO certificates preferred but not essential; training and support will be provided.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000-£60,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. This position requires a successful Enhanced DBS check prior to starting work.
