**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in a picturesque gastro pub in Pembrokeshire.

**About the Role:**

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative menus that showcase local ingredients and celebrate Welsh produce. You will also oversee the procurement of ingredients, manage supplier relationships, and control kitchen costs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Menu Creation: Design and implement seasonal menus that reflect the pub's ethos and culinary standards.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire the kitchen team to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards in food preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency across all dishes.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement of ingredients, managing supplier relationships, and controlling kitchen costs.

**Requirements:**

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, ideally within a gastro pub or similar setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

**What We Offer:**

Competitive salary estimated at £62,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. This includes a base salary of £50,000 per annum, plus tips (6,000.00 P/A). A 48-hour working week with 5 days on, 2 days off.
