We are seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to join our team at a dynamic secondary school in Margate, Kent.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and passionate Maths Teacher to inspire and motivate students, helping them reach their full potential in Mathematics.

About the Role:
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, with potential KS5 teaching.
  • Plan and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Support and guide students of varying abilities to achieve their learning goals.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school-wide activities.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, providing additional support where necessary.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3, KS4) – KS5 experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching.

Educational Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Location: Margate, Kent.

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Salary:£32,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
