Security Vetting Support Specialist

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a strong compliance background? We are seeking a skilled Security Vetting Support Officer to join our team at Morson Talent.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the recruitment process by obtaining security clearances and checks for new employees.
- Manage confidential and complex vetting enquiries, providing expert guidance and support.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vetting issues and problems, liaising with UKSV and other external agencies as needed.
- Collaborate with external IT platforms to obtain and update security clearances, ensuring seamless integration.
- Provide support to the Security Services team, contributing to the successful implementation of the Vetting Strategy.
- Lead departmental projects, driving successful outcomes and meeting deadlines.
- Experience with HMG BPSS and UKSV vetting processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional approach, with a keen eye for detail and a 'can-do' attitude.
- Experience with electronic vetting databases and multi-IT platforms.
- Desirable: experience and knowledge of MOD and defence industry, relevant vetting and Personnel Security experience or qualification, awareness of recruitment and onboarding processes for defence industry.
