We are seeking a highly skilled Security Vetting Support Specialist to join our team at Gold Group Ltd. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of security cleared personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Support Recruitment in obtaining security clearances and checks for all new employees.
- Manage confidential and complex vetting enquiries, providing expert guidance and support as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vetting issues and problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Liaise with external agencies, including UKSV, to facilitate the vetting process and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Utilize electronic vetting databases and multi-IT platforms to obtain and update security clearances, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide support to areas of Security Services, including personnel security and vetting operations.
- Lead on departmental projects, driving successful implementation and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborate with the Personnel Security Manager to implement the Vetting Strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk reduction.
- Experience of HMG BPSS and UKSV vetting processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Able to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
- Professional approach, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience with electronic vetting databases and multi-IT platforms.
- 'Can do' attitude, with a positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience and knowledge of MOD and defence industry.
- Relevant vetting and Personnel Security experience or qualification.
- Awareness and knowledge of recruitment and onboarding processes for the defence industry.
- Personnel Security awareness for the ongoing aftercare of security cleared staff.
- Presentation experience for the delivery of training.
