Achats Contract Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to join a regional construction company on a permanent basis. As the Contracts Manager, you will oversee and deliver multiple projects with types of works including refurbishments, commercial new build, extensions, and projects up to £5m.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide regular project performance reports, including a comprehensive monthly report.
- Take responsibility for the management of up to multiple site teams, ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Contribute to tender submissions by providing essential information.
- Deliver contracts within agreed contract conditions and timeframes, demonstrating exceptional project management skills.
- Lead and manage Senior Site Managers and their site teams, monitoring performance, providing guidance, and direction.
- Offer pre-construction and pre-contract advice to ensure the smooth running of site activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Excel.
- Knowledge of various types of contracts.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Detailed Health and Safety knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of building, material components, and building regulations.
- SMSTS, Relevant CSCS card, and First Aid at Work certifications.
- A valid driving licence.
- A DBS check will be required for this position.
