Logistics Operations Manager

As a Logistics Operations Manager at Williams Racing, you will oversee the warehouse operations during the weekend shift. Your responsibilities will include supervising and leading a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in booking-in and out, and picking for production.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse operatives during the weekend shift, delegating tasks effectively and monitoring performance.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Manage the booking-out process, ensuring outgoing items are prepared and documented correctly for transport or production use.
- Coordinate the picking of materials and components for production, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prioritize urgent requests and troubleshoot issues to avoid production delays.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock is accurately recorded and organized.
- Prepare and submit shift reports, detailing completed tasks, issues encountered, and solutions implemented.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role with prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and documentation.
- Flexible and adaptable to the dynamic environment of motorsport logistics.
- Ensure understanding of and compliance with health and safety obligations.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
