Sales Director

As a Sales Manager at Stobart, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and development within the Midlands area. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and delivering new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales and marketing efforts
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales and wider team to develop and implement sales plans and strategies
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
Requirements:
- Proven sales experience and track record within the transport and logistics industry
- Strategic aptitude and ability to develop and execute sales strategies
- Business acumen and commercial awareness, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
