About the Role:
HCRG Care Group is a leading provider of NHS services, committed to transforming health and care through digital innovation. As a Clinical Systems Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering large-scale change, ensuring the safe and high-quality deployment of the Electronic Patient Record and associated technology.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working under the direction of the Head of Clinical Systems. Your key responsibilities will include managing multiple deliverables concurrently, such as data migrations, system configuration, communications, integration, testing, training, and cutover activities.
With patient and staff experience at the heart of decision-making, you will need to have a calm and efficient manner. This role offers hybrid working between remote and regular travel to our regional offices.
Main Duties:
- Maintain detailed project plans, risk, issue, and decision logs using industry-standard tools and templates.
- Manage project issues and risks, ensuring mitigations are in place and escalating outside tolerance.
- Establish a robust governance structure for decision-making, including sign-off by clinical safety, quality, analytics, performance, and operations teams.
- Represent the Clinical Systems service line in mobilisation meetings, events, and outputs.
- Liaise with technology teams and suppliers to ensure delivery of agreed outputs to time and quality standards.
- Review current and design new data models to ensure optimum efficiencies and operational practices.
- Obtain a full understanding of current operational processes, co-design new ways of working with operational leads, and reflect in system design, configuration, and training.
- Manage key workstreams of system deployment, including Business Process Engineering, Access & Smartcards, Data Migration, Integrations, Configuration, Testing, Cutover, BAU Handover, and Processes, Communications, Training.
