Mission Statement

We're seeking a skilled Static Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team at BAM UK & Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC and electrical maintenance, testing, and fault-finding on a variety of equipment, including air conditioning, air handling units, plumbing, ventilation, pumps, switchgear, cables, batteries, small power, and lighting.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and completing associated paperwork and electronic reports.
  • Performing reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and completing the necessary paperwork.
  • Providing out-of-hours cover for clients.
  • Assisting other team members as required.
  • Ensuring tasks are completed within contractual timeframes.
  • Overseeing visiting sub-contractors to ensure high standards of work and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Aiding other properties within the portfolio as needed.
  • Completing all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
  • Working in a safe and diligent manner.
  • Complying with health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Qualifications in HVAC and/or electrical disciplines.
  • 18th Edition and/or electrical test and inspection certifications.
  • Experience in HVAC and electrical maintenance, testing, and fault-finding on a range of equipment.
  • An understanding of Service Level Agreements, service targets, and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Strong customer care focus.
  • A clean driving license.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A proactive approach.
  • The ability to anticipate and diagnose faults.
  • Efficient completion of essential paperwork.
