Head Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hotel and hospitality management, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to maintain quality control and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures that optimize efficiency while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel.
  • Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff attendance, room status updates, and maintenance requests.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a housekeeping role within the hotel or hospitality industry is essential.
  • Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is advantageous.
  • Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
