Job Details

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Physical Education Support Staff member.

Job Summary:

  • Assist PE teachers in planning and delivering engaging PE lessons, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Motivate students to participate in physical activities and sports, fostering a positive attitude towards physical fitness.
  • Help organize and supervise sports events, tournaments, and extracurricular activities such as after-school clubs.

Responsibilities:

  • Support PE teachers in delivering effective and engaging PE lessons.
  • Organize and supervise sports activities and events, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for students.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students during PE classes, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students, adhering to safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Help maintain and manage sports equipment, ensuring it is in good condition and easily accessible.

Requirements:

  • Strong passion for sports and physical education, with a desire to inspire and motivate students.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, promoting a positive attitude towards physical fitness.
  • First Aid certification is desirable, but not essential.
