Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Unqualified English Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. As an integral part of our educational support team, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality educational support to students in the English curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to understand the specific needs of students and develop effective English lesson plans.
  • Implement and adapt English lesson plans to support students' individual learning requirements, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one and group assistance to students during classroom activities and lessons, fostering positive relationships and promoting student well-being.
  • Assist in the implementation of behaviour management strategies tailored to students' needs, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure a holistic support system, promoting student success and well-being.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in an educational setting, especially in providing support to students in English studies, is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting individual student success, with a commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team, with a focus on continuous professional development and improvement.
