Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English Language Support Specialist to join our team in Harlow. As an EAL Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting students who are learning English as an additional language.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of EAL students.
  • Support students in developing their English language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working as an EAL Teacher or in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
