We are seeking a passionate and versatile English Language Specialist to join our dedicated team at secondary schools in Harlow. This unique opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong command of the English language and a desire to inspire young minds, even without formal teaching qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall educational experience for students.

Requirements:

  • Strong command of the English language, including literature, grammar, and composition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to undertake relevant training.

As an English Language Specialist in our Harlow secondary schools, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students by fostering a love for the English language and helping them develop essential communication skills.
