Job Title: Technical Lead for Compiler Development

In this role at ARM, you will be responsible for leading the development of our pioneering compiler technology. You will collaborate with the GNU community to make the best use of Arm architectural features such as SVE and SME. This is an exciting opportunity to work on varied projects in our GNU Tools team in Cambridge, UK.

You will identify and implement changes to the GCC compiler, libraries, and open-source applications to optimize benchmark workloads. Additionally, you will improve the open-source GNU framework to better support Arm architectural features and core designs. Your responsibilities will also include participating in the open-source GNU community, including reviews upstream and opportunities to attend and present at developer meetings.

This role requires C and/or C++ programming skills, experience with low-level software or hardware development, and effective communication skills to influence internal or external partners. In return, all employees at ARM are provided with vital training to succeed in their respective roles. Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum.
