Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers, promoting self-management and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.

Person Specification:

We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of 6 months' experience in a Mental Health Hospital environment within the last 3 years. You will need to be registered with the NMC and have up-to-date knowledge of current nursing practices. Restraint and ILS Training completed within the last 12 months is desirable.
