Position: Design and Technology Educator

Location: North London

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Design and Technology Educator to join our team at Step Teachers. As a Design and Technology Educator, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging Design and Technology lessons to students in a mainstream UK classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons that cater to a range of abilities
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Design and Technology curriculum
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Design and Technology in a mainstream UK classroom
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Passion for fostering creativity and innovation in students
