Design Technology Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Design Technology Teacher to join our team at a vibrant secondary school in Finchley, London. As a Design Technology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire students and foster creativity and innovation in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that integrate resistance and graphic materials into the design process.
  • Provide hands-on instruction in our fully equipped workshops, guiding students as they explore design concepts and develop their projects.
  • Mentor and support students as they develop their skills and confidence in design technology.
  • Collaborate with fellow Design Technology teachers to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements, infusing your expertise into the curriculum.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in design, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated years of experience teaching Design Technology, with a focus on resistance and graphic materials.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a dedication to fostering creativity and innovation in students.
