Contract Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Recruitment & HR Specialist to join our team at DCV Technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire recruitment lifecycle, including permanent and contract positions, across the UK business.
The Recruitment & HR Specialist will work closely with Marketing and other stakeholders to build the employer brand and support the communication of it with relevant audiences. They will also be responsible for designing and executing search campaigns to generate suitable applications, undertaking pre-interviews and selecting candidates, and managing each candidate from first contact until onboarding.
The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of skills, experience, and competencies required within a professional services company, as well as experience conducting permanent or contract recruitment within Engineering or Technical environments. They will possess strong communication skills, negotiation and influencing skills, and excellent organisational and time management skills.
The successful candidate will also have a working knowledge of employment law as it relates to recruitment, and experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other ATS. They will be able to craft appealing and accurate job adverts for publication on commercial job boards, and have a strong understanding of employer branding, particularly as it relates to recruitment and people.
We are looking for a Recruitment & HR Specialist who is 80% Recruitment and 20% HR focussed, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key members of the Groups and the Space Alliance. The successful candidate will be able to ensure a fair and legally compliant process is used at all times, and ensure all relevant information is processed and held appropriately.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Responding immediately to new resource requirements across the UK and Europe, raising relevant paperwork and advertising them effectively and liaising with subcontractors.
- Working closely with Marketing and other stakeholders to continue to build the employer brand and support the communication of it with relevant audiences.
- Designing and executing a suitable search campaign to generate a number of suitable applications.
- Undertake pre-interview and select suitable candidates, shortlisting for presentation to the line manager.
- Managing each candidate from first contact until rejection or until onboarded with the company.
- Ensuring a fair and legally compliant process is used at all times.
- Ensure all relevant information is processed and held appropriately.
- Build and maintain relationships with key members of the Groups and the Space Alliance.
- Ensure all internal processes & procedures are followed.
- Managing internal systems including SAP SuccessFactors and Workday, and supporting their use across the UK business.
- Supporting the Head of HR with relevant activities in particular surrounding employee retention, candidate attraction etc.
- Other ad-hoc generalist HR tasks as appropriate.
- Supporting hiring managers with the recruitment process and advising/coaching as required.
