Job Title: Contract Recruitment Resourcer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruitment & HR Specialist to join our team at DCV Technologies. This is a 12-month FTC opportunity for a proven professional with a strong background in recruitment and HR, particularly in the engineering and technical industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, selecting, and onboarding candidates for both permanent and contract positions across the UK and Europe. They will also play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers, marketing teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Source and select high-quality candidates for both permanent and contract positions, utilizing a range of recruitment strategies and techniques.
  2. Design and execute effective search campaigns to generate a high volume of suitable applications.
  3. Manage the recruitment process from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring a fair and legally compliant process at all times.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key members of the DCV Technologies team and external partners, including hiring managers, marketing teams, and recruitment agencies.
  5. Support the Head of HR with relevant activities, including employee retention, candidate attraction, and other HR-related tasks.
  6. Manage internal systems, including SAP SuccessFactors and Workday, and support their use across the UK business.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in recruitment and HR, particularly in the engineering and technical industries.
  2. Strong understanding of skills, experience, and competencies required within a professional services company.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals, from junior to senior levels.
  4. Strong understanding of employer branding, particularly as it relates to recruitment and people.
  5. Techniques and novel ideas for proactive/direct sourcing, particularly in a scientific or technical field.
  6. Ability to craft appealing and accurate job adverts for publication on commercial job boards.
  7. Working knowledge of employment law as it relates to recruitment.
  8. Understanding of different selection and assessment techniques, including competency-based interviewing.
  9. Negotiation and influencing skills.
  10. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  11. IT skills, including a strong understanding of Microsoft Office.
  12. Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  13. Experience recruiting across Europe.
  14. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other ATS.
  15. Working knowledge of HR function and core practices.
  16. Understanding of the UK or EU Space Industry.
