About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a key member of our residential home, you will work with young people who require support and guidance to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality childcare and support to young people with challenging behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe and nurturing environment
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Qualified to QCF level 3 in Children and Young People, or willing to work towards the qualification
  • Experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full manual driving license
