Industry Placement Assessor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industry Placement Assessor to join our team at The Bedford College Group. As an Industry Placement Assessor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our students by sourcing and arranging industry placements, conducting health and safety checks, and providing support to learners to ensure the successful completion of their industry placement.

We are looking for an individual with a good all-round level of education, including Maths and English to GCSE (Grade A – C) or equivalent level (level 2). You should also have a minimum of level 3 in the relevant sector area and a1 Assessor qualification or Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance (TAQA) Award or willingness to work towards. Recent relevant commercial or industrial experience within the land-based sector is also essential.

• Sourcing and arranging industry placements
• Conducting health and safety checks
• Providing support to learners to ensure the successful completion of their industry placement
• Coordinating all aspects of the industry placement
• Acting as industry placement lead for T-Level provision
