We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Adviser to join our Consumer Insight and Behavioural Science team at Ofgem. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality research and analysis to inform our policy decisions and drive the transition to Net Zero.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and lead research projects to deliver timely, robust insights that inform policy decisions.
- Champion the consumer voice and ensure that our research and analysis are grounded in a deep understanding of consumer needs and behaviours.
- Work closely with our heat networks policy and implementation teams to ensure that our research has a tangible impact on heat networks policy development.
- Lead the development of high-quality research plans, project plans, and stakeholder engagement to meet stakeholders' needs.
- Oversee in-house quantitative statistical analysis of survey data sets to address key policy questions.
- Deliver clear and concise documents, including presentations, briefings, reports, and management papers, for internal and external audiences.
- First-class social or market research professional with expertise in quantitative research and survey design.
- Experience in qualitative research or behavioural insights and experiments is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex research findings to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
