About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at St Neots Hospital. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the hospital, including wards, offices, bedrooms, and visitor areas.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas of the hospital are spotless and meet required security standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain good working relationships with staff, visitors, and service users.
  • Undertake any other tasks requested by management that are appropriate for the post.
  • Attend mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment.
  • Ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities effectively.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.

Working Environment

You will be working in the heart of St Neots in Cambridge, alongside the team at St Neots Hospital, which offers care, therapeutic, and rehabilitation pathways for those affected by a neurological or mental health condition.

St Neots provides assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and complex care for both male and female patients suffering from a broad range of neurological conditions, including Huntington's disease, acquired or traumatic brain injury, frontotemporal dementia, or functional disorders.
