Procurement Team Role: We are seeking a skilled Procurement Lead to join our team at the Royal Household/Buckingham Palace. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our infrastructure and managing contracts and spend allocated to maintaining historic buildings. You will also be responsible for advising internal stakeholders on best practice and value for money. The ideal candidate will have public sector procurement experience and a natural ability to collaborate and adapt to meet challenges. The role involves providing procurement expertise, contract management support, and end-to-end governance for procurements. You will work closely with our Finance team to plan and prioritize procurement activity and projects and align with organizational objectives. The Procurement Lead will be responsible for maintaining Contract Management Systems, ensuring due diligence, reviews, and renewals are programmed into the procurement pipeline. Additionally, the role involves supporting and promoting procurement policy and best practice across the organization, with a focus on continuous improvement. The successful candidate will have full membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) and completed the Government Commercial Function's Transforming Public Procurement training. They will also have experience of reviewing contracts and e-tendering software. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, resourceful, adaptable, and confident in managing a varied portfolio of procurements.
